Our animated sequence was originally released as part of the Native Forests documentary which was written and produced by our friends at Planta Alta and funded by the United Nations Programme for the Reduction of Carbon Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation and the Inter-American Development Bank B.I.D.
The climate crisis is one of the greatest challenges humanity has ever faced, primarily driven by the rising levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Since the industrial revolution, there has been a 42% increase in atmospheric CO2. It’s time to start collectively putting C02 back where it belongs: in the ground.

This animated sequence highlighting the cycle of carbon formed a critical part in a documentary on Native Forests and highlights how the greenhouse effect and the climate crisis directly relates to deforestation.
The sequence not only complements the documentary but has also gained significant acclaim as a standalone short film, reaching diverse audiences and generating widespread success.
This innovative format has proven to be both replicable and inspirational, leading to the development of an entire series currently in production, demonstrating its powerful influence and long-lasting impact.
